Another year, another journal. Let’s see if I can do any better this year.
There is one set of pages missing from this yearly spread, and that’s because I don’t yet know how to fill it. But in time, when I’ve figured out how to approach my Travel section of my Bullet Journal, I’ll make sure to update!
2026 Title page

I know these colours are a mess, but that probably represents me quite well anyway…
I’d love to see some of your 2026 title page designs! ^^
Themes of 2026

This page is new to me, but I’ve seen a lot of interest in the ‘Themes of 2025/6’ pages. I have, however, tried to take a slightly different approach. Instead of trying to plan all of my themes for the month ahead of time, I’m going to try and fill it in as I go along, see how the styles perhaps change or maybe even see improvement (If I dare wish).
2026 Calendar

I feel like I’ve cheated by using the same calendar layout this year, as I did last year, but I really like this design! I try to look ahead and pick colours for each month (even though some end up changing), so I can try and keep a brief theme or set of colours to use. That does, however, end up making things look a bit chaotic as the colours I pick have no real correlation to each other…
I added some examples of how I use this calendar to record important dates!
Reading Log and Bookshelf
My 2025 reading log and bookshelf were much smaller; the whole thing spanned across two pages. I’d also tried using watercolours and ended up with an uneven background (I still need a lot of practice with watercolour paints!). I wanted some more space to draw out my bookshelf. I also wanted space to log the dates and ratings of the books I read, but I also didn’t want to make the spread uneven… So, I also designed myself a ‘little’ 2026 reading challenge.
How to use a Bullet Journal Bookshelf?
It’s nice and easy. What I like to do is leave all of the books on the shelf blank, and once I finish a book, I colour in and label one on the shelf – but don’t forget there are no rules! You can find any way that works for you.
Movies and TV Log
Just as with my bookshelf and reading log, I opted to double up on the length of my ‘TV and Movie Tracker’. Although I never really fill it in much, I wondered if it’s because I don’t like putting things in the ‘incorrect’ categories. So, I took these doubling-up pages as an opportunity to add more. Recently, I’ve been on a bit of a K-drama binge, so it seemed fitting to make that my fourth.
How to use a Bullet Journal TV Log?
This page design is simple and self-explanatory – simply write the title and your rating of the show. Although if you want it to be like the reading log, you can always add a column for the date you finished it too!
Pixel Year / Goals for 2026

Pixel Year
I’m pretty sure the Pixel year, or ‘Year in Pixels’, is a standard bullet journal page. I think in my case, it’s what brought me to bullet journaling in the first place, when I wanted to find a way to track my moods (before all these apps came in). I continue, though, to struggle with finding the right ’emotions’ to log. So instead of just emotions, I’ve tried to use some other adjectives as well to try and mix it up. When you pick what to log, make sure to use words that you already use commonly – otherwise, you might find yourself questioning it too much.
Year Goals
This is once again a repeat of a page design I used last year, but it’s another one I’ve become comfortable with and don’t yet wish to change (changing everything can be overwhelming and have the opposite effect as to what a Bullet Journal is designed for!) I’ll try to keep my goals small for the majority, with only a couple bigger ones – nothing that causes too much pressure or disappointment if I find myself overwhelmed by my own expectations.
Weight Tracker

Another page I’ve doubled up – the weight tracker. This year, I’ve added a monthly weigh-in page so I can more clearly track my measurements over the year and hopefully fill in my weight loss tracker to meet my goal alongside it, too!
Try not to give yourself unrealistic goals, and don’t get disappointed by fluctuating weight! In women, especially hormones can cause all sorts of weight changes over the month, so if you weigh yourself too often, you may just be causing unnecessary stress. Health and fitness are things you just need to be consistent with, and eventually you’ll reach your goal!
Savings Tracker / Word Count Tracker

Savings Goals
I don’t think I ever ended up labelling any savings goals last year, so I tried to at least pick some for this year. I picked something I need, something I want, and something I should do, and I’ve left a space free in case anything else comes up. I wanted to add some doodles to this page, but was in a bit of a rush to finish it (the end of the year is a chaotic time…). Even so, I do quite like how my little coin holders turned out. (What are these things called again?)
Word Count Tracker
The word count tracker is another new page to me, and as you can probably tell, a relatively uninspiring one as of yet. I will be finishing my BA this year and plan to work on some of my bigger writing projects following it, so I thought it was about time I started trying to focus on my writing more. To use this page, I’ll be using the corresponding colour and writing the date the log was made on it too, but remember, everything can be redesigned to fit your purpose!
Personal Projects / Social Media Statistics

Projects
I needed a page for projects, but I had no plan for it. Sometimes the bare minimum is all you need to do.
Social Media Statistics
I didn’t finish filling in the row headings for this one, but in order to track my growth (or decline) on my website and other forms of social media, I like to create a page where I can log at least a brief part of the information of statistics. A heading example would be ‘Instagram followers’, which you then write in the amount at the start or end of each month (or the middle if you want…) and can see how it changes over the year. If you run multiple accounts, you can line the stats up side by side and compare what’s more worthwhile! Either way, I often just find it satisfying to fill in, regardless of the totals.
2026 Big Moments

I think it’s nice to write a brief summary or a highlight of each month you can go and look back at, but once again, I had an error with stationery on this one… It’s usually quite a nice page to look at, looks quite rough this year, but I’m not going to let that deter me too much. I believe a big part of bullet journaling is in learning to live with mistakes and imperfections. Sometimes you just have to live with it.
Everyone’s Bullet Journal is going to be different, and I think any that look perfect all the way through were probably done in several tries, and whilst that’s fine if that’s what you want to do, I can’t afford to be ripping these pages out!
I’d love to hear what some popular pages for this year are, and any suggestions for my monthly ones or next year’s spread!
Happy New Year, all! and happy journaling!^^
